Boat Covers Ireland were recently invited along to the Presentation of the Dermot Curran Young Achiever Students Awards at South Eastern Regional College in Downpatrick.
Jonny and Emma Lynn of Boat Covers Ireland were invited to the presentation of a students awards ceremony recently to celebrate the enterprise of young students with a passion for business. Part of the event included an Enterprise Question Time panel drawn from recent winners of the Down District Business awards, answering questions from local college students from across the district. Boat Covers Ireland did their best to provide advice on the do's and don't of setting up a business and were very impressed at some of the innovative business ideas amongst the young students, including 'Pure Manure', 'Personal Paparazzi' and a very driven group of young hairdressing students that had gone a step further and set up a salon within their college that was starting to generate income.
